John M. Binder
Serious, aggressive representation—that’s what John Binder offers his clients. His success speaks for itself and is a testament to his passion to help others. He gives every case his absolute all. He refuses to go down without a fight. John practices exclusively criminal defense. He has tried numerous jury trials, in both state and federal courts. The majority of his practice is devoted to extensive pretrial litigation, jury trials, and revocation matters. John Binder has been practicing criminal defense in private practice his entire career.
John graduated from Marquette Law School in 2018 and graduated cum laude from Bellarmine University in 2014. While in law school, he worked for multiple judges, including Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Chief Judge Diane S. Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago. John was on Marquette’s Moot Court Association and served on the Marquette Law Review. In his last year of law school, he served as a research assistant to Professor Daniel Blinka, Wisconsin’s premier scholar on rules of evidence, and interned with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, where he got valuable insights on how prosecutors operate. John was named to the Dean’s List numerous times.
John is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association, the Waukesha County Bar Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Seventh Circuit Bar Association. John has earned awards in the Wisconsin Law Journal and Super Lawyers.
In his spare time, John Binder enjoys contributing to the community. He was a mentor in the U.S. District Court (Judge Clevert’s) Mentorship Program. John also serves as a judge for Marquette’s Moot Court program, as well as the National Moot Court Program.
John treats each of his cases as if his own life were on the line. His success in obtaining dismissals and not guilty verdicts demonstrates his passion for criminal defense, his work ethic, and the quality of work he provides to each of his clients.

Jerome C. Mohsen
Jerome Mohsen has extensive litigation and appellate experience. In addition to criminal law, he has experience in insurance law, shareholder disputes, municipal law, administrative law, consumer actions, health law, bid protests, and contract law. He has represented local, national, and international corporations, as well as major cities, in state and federal courts. He also has experience representing prisoners to assert their constitutional rights (under 42 U.S.C. § 1983) in federal court. Jerome has practiced in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and argued in front of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, in Chicago.
Jerome graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2017. While in law school, he served on the Marquette Law Review and served as a research assistant to several professors, including Chad Oldfather. He received his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Carroll University and a Maîtrise (with honors) from Université Bordeaux Montaigne, in France. Before joining Binder Mohsen LLC, Jerome was a litigator at Quarles & Brady LLP and Gass Turek LLC.
Jerome is committed to pro bono service. He has represented renters at risk of eviction, individuals seeking to enforce their constitutional rights, and local and national nonprofit organizations. He has received numerous awards for his pro bono work in federal and state courts. Jerome has been named a rising star by Super Lawyers.
Jerome has a diverse background. He is bilingual French-English and fluent in Spanish. He has assisted clients with French-language disputes in France, Quebec, and several African countries.
Jerome is admitted to practice in all Wisconsin state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Northern District of Illinois. Jerome is a member of the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association and the Milwaukee Bar Association.
